At least 2.6 tons of marijuana was seized at the southern portion of the country, near the border with Argentina, through two police operations, said the police officer two weeks ago.
The first operation led to the confiscation of 1.71 tons of marijuana near the Parana River, while the other operation confiscated almost a ton of pot in a truck that stopped by one of the checkpoints of the National Police.
